Fortnite players run into a hardware ID ban when the game stops the computer, not only one Epic login. The usual sign is a new account on the same PC getting the same block before a match starts.
Epic’s PC anti-cheat reads identifiers from the machine and stores a hardware ID with the penalty. Changing the email, the display name, or the network does not present a different machine.
The Fortnite spoofer is for that device ban. It presents a different hardware profile to the game so the stored HWID is no longer the one the PC reports.
